HAPPY SUMMER!
FOOTBALL EVERYWHERE
32 countries take part in the Fifa World Cup. Do you know all of them? Try and learn their names in English:
This is the Fifa World Cup anthem "Waving Flag". K'naan sings it with our well-known David Bisbal. I like this song very much. Do you like it? I hope you enjoy singing it and perhaps dancing it. Come on!

K'naan was born in Somalia (Africa) in 1978. He's thirty-two years old. He now lives in Tornto (Canada). He is married and he has got two sons. He is a poet, rapper, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist. His music genres are hip hop and world music.

David Bisbal was born in Almeria (Spain)in 1979. He is a Latin Grammy-winning Spanish pop singer. He gained his initial fame as a runner up on the interactive reality television show Operación Triunfo produced by TJ Hall.
He has since released four studio albums, all of which topped the Spanish Albums Chart, in addition to recording a number of live albums. He's toured throughout Europe and Latin America and is now considered to be a crossover international artist.

HAVING FUN
On these days we did some special activities with pre-primary children.
With 4-years-old kids we made a delicious cake. It´s very easy and they liked very much.If you want to make it this is the recipe:
* one bag of sponge fingers (unha bolsa de bizcoitos de soletilla)
* one tin of whipped cream (un bote de nata montada)
* one little tin of pineapple and one little tin of peach (un bote pequeno de piña e un de melocotón)
First you wet the sponge fingers in the peach syrup and put them in a tray or bowl.
Them you add the cream and finally you add the pineapple and peach. It´s easy, isn't it?
With the 5-years-old kids we went for a picnic. We had a big basket (Thank you Jose Mª because the basket belongs to our museum. It was perfect) and we put a tablecloth, napkins, glasses and spoons. We prepared some sandwiches, and we cut fruit (peach and pineapple). We put them in the basket and a melon, cherries and little cheese too.
Time for a picnic! We went to the playground and we ate ... Delicious food!

TALKING ABOUT PLANTS
The 3er level students went to 5-years-old classroom to talk about plants and flowers because they were studying about them. They know a lot of about what a plant needs to grow, the parts of a plant, the name of many flowers in English... and they wanted to show their knowledge to the youngest children.
It was a very beautiful experience. They told a story in English, they played a game all together and at the end they gave the children a bunch of flowers they had made with their teacher Fina F.(thank you!).
Thank you to Oliva (5-years-old teacher)for giving us this chance.

WORLD BOOK DAY
April 23 is a symbolic date for world literature. This is because Cervantes, Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega all died on this date in 1616 . We are going to learn more about these writers. Click on their photos.
