CHRISTMAS
Christmas is here! Christmas trees are put up in homes and we decorate them with lights, ornaments and tinsel.
Most of the families put the Nativity Scene with Joseph, Mary and Jesus. We sing carols and send christmas cards to friends and family.

We celebrate some important dates on Christmas holidays:
On December 24th is Christmas Eve (Nochebuena). Father Christmas or Santa Claus brings presents.
On December 25th is Christmas Day (Día de Navidad).
On December 31st is the last day of the year(2008)
On January 1st we start a New Year (2009).
On January 6th The Three Wise Men ( the three kings) come and bring presents to children.

MAKING A JACK-O-LANTERN
Look at this pumpkin! Children of 1st level made a jack-o-lantern. It was very fun.
Steps:
1. Draw the face of your pumpkin
2. Empty it.
3. Cut the eyes, the nose and the mouth.
4. Put a candle inside.
Well done!!
