The opening ceremony of the Games will take place in the Olympic Stadium on the evening of 27 July 2012.
The game goes from July 27th to August 12th. The Paraolympics games start on August 29th to September 9th.
London hosted the games in 1908 and 1948.
205 nations will take pat in the Olympic games in 300 events. There are 26 Olympic sports.
147 nations in the Paraolympics.
